String of explosions at churches, hotels kill 100, injure 300 in Sri Lanka

At least 100 people have been killed and 300 others injured in a series of explosions that targeted three churches and three hotels in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka and two other cities on Sunday morning.
The blasts hit three hotels and one church in the capital and two additional churches outside Colombo.
Police say that the explosions were carried by suicide bombers.
Sri Lankan officials report that foreign tourists may be among the casualties.
Sri Lankan president in an issued statement has called on people to remain calm and support the authorities in their investigations.
No one has yet said they were responsible for the attacks.
