Taliban negotiator calls for formation of elected gov in Afghanistan

Taliban Negotiator Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai has said that “the current Afghan government is an imposed one, therefore, an inclusive government must be formed.”
In an exclusive interview with VOA, he added the Taliban would pay efforts in the intra-Afghan talks to create an elected government.
Head of the Taliban negotiating team refused to answer questions about the Taliban’s belief in democracy and elections.
His remarks come as based on US-Taliban deal, the intra-Afghan negotiation is scheduled to be held on tenth March.
